Glory UI Design
Overview
Challenge
Glory Solutions is a well-established payments systems company that works globally in many industries. They are in need of an update across their websites.
Goal
Create a design system that includes relevant component sets and page templates that are adaptable across different markets to suit specific tastes and needs.
Solution
We updated and enhanced the visual language whilst staying true to their brand guidelines. Alongside the design system, style guides and UI style guides I also produced a digital design guide. This helped to contextualise the work for people across the organisation.

Competitor & Brand Audit
I looked across the industry both at direct and indirect competitors. I also did a deep dive into the Glory brand, looking at their current print guidelines and older digital guidelines. After collating into a mood board we did a face-to-face call with key stakeholders in the business to gauge where they would like to take the brand and how they position themselves in the market.
After discussing with the team it was decided that they wanted a look that was true to their brand, modern and not quick to look out of date.
Early Concepts
The next phase was to deliver the client two concepts they could show to regional teams and gauge what direction to take the work. I produced one safe option and another that pushed the branding collateral.
Design System
Working with the client and the regional teams we landed on a combination of both routes adding in variants of some components that we cold use to to cater to diffrent markets visual tastes.
I broke this into a scalable design system with the following sections:
Styles
In order to create components and page templates
I first had to establish styles. That would define how everything else is built.
Components
The building blocks used to create layouts. Using variants and boolean layers allowed me to create a robust set of components.
Page templates
Page templates are easily created from the component set and allow various combinations to break up the pages nicely
Digital Style Guides
It was really important for the client that we contextualised the work in a format that was digestible across the organisation. I produced a digital pdf that linked out to the design system and also included some guidance on how best to work with the design system.
