King Salman Park -Interaction Design
Overview
Challenge
King Salman Park is a large-scale public park and urban district to be developed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the park will be the largest urban park in the world. They need a website to match the ambition of the project.
Goal
Create a wow factor that competes with similar national urban projects such as The Line & Trojena in Neom.
Solution
Working in ProtoPie I bought the designs to life producing work that is more immersive than standard, using scrolly-telling techniques and bespoke components.

Scrolling timeline design
This component uses a horizontal scroll to engage the user. I decided to use of larger images and smaller videos that help to improve the load time and quality video.
Our vision
This component works really well with the context of the title, as the user scrolls down the video takes over the screen with powerful and exciting visuals.
What People are saying
As the user scrolls through the frame thumbnails scroll at different speeds to give a sense of depth, when the user hovers over a thumbnail a preview of the video is played.
